Taking a Walk
I go for my rounds several times a week. Always the same route, the same way, along the Dreisam. And although it's the same route and the same path, it's never the same.
Because the Dreisam is alive.
It changes with every blink of an eye. Season, weather and time play with it. And I too - as an observer - am never the same when I watch this play. And you too can experience a small part of this diversity ...

Bodies of Water
"How is water in and of my body? When I drink a glass of water, where does it go? How does it animate me? Where does it come from? How does water ask me to move, what sensations does it evoke, what affect does it engender, in me and the bodies it connects me to?"

The Idea
I began filming more videos and found great joy in the different moments I captured. The foaming of the Dreisam after the snow has melted, the glittering of the lanterns at night or the rivulets where the Dreisam briefly splits and forms a flat river bed.
After a few months I felt the desire to share this experience with others.
The recordings are arranged chronologically and you will find some written lines of mine on the way.
